Finally a new entry! (7wks old)

Well, we've not had an update for almost a month! It's high time, we get one it. So here goes:

Parker continues to do very well. She's letting Mom and Dad sleep for up to 6hrs at a time during the night. She smiles a lot (see photo above), and is just starting to figure out that she can control her own hands. She's been growing out of clothes already.
Auntie Steph and Mike came down for a visit (with Jack the dog too). It was great to see them and and Parker really likes hangin' out with Steph a lot!
While they were down, we also got to have a BBQ at our house. The weather was great and it was the most people we've had at our home at one time so far. In addition to Mike & Steph & Jack (the dog) those in attendance were: Jared & Lisa, & new baby Lily & Kaiya (their dog), Eric & Stacey with baby Bane, and Matt & Maddie.
We did our first long road-trip up to Anacortes, WA to visit some family and friends that had yet to meet little Parker. We stayed with the Beaner-Bunch (a.k.a. the family o' 6). Parker got to see almost all her cousins and she met Rick & Uncle Tyson for the very first time.
We also took Parker to meet Great-Grandma Luella (her middle-name sake). Luella was so happy that we were able to make the trip up and was very happy to have another great-grand daughter to help even the playing field (5 girls vs. 6 boys).

Also, Claire (a.k.a. BBQ-Claire) and her daughter Kaley (who is 3 months old) got to come over. We just think they're gonna be the best of friends!

On the way back to Portland, we stopped for the night at "Mimi's" house.

All in all, Parker traveled very well and got to see lots of her family.
